DMRC erects steel span over National Highway-9, Delhi-Meerut Expressway

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) erected a 58-metre steel span across National Highway-9 and Delhi-Meerut Expressway without disrupting traffic.

The span is part of a reversal facility for Blue Line trains at Noida Electronic City Metro station.

The reversal facility will enable trains to reverse direction, improving operational efficiency.

The span was installed about 14 metres above the highway and expressway, passing beneath a high-tension overhead power line.

Civil work for the reversal facility is expected to be completed by end of 2026.
