Karwar police arrange accommodation for constable exam candidates

Uttara Kannada police arranged accommodation for candidates arriving in Karwar for the Civil Police Constable recruitment exam on Sunday.

Around 6,475 candidates are expected to appear for the exam across centres in Karwar and Ankola, including government colleges, PU colleges, and high schools.

Accommodation is provided at community halls, school buildings, and other facilities in locations such as Sarvodaya Nagar, Andangadda, Kajubag, Chendiya in Karwar, and Kalyan Mantapas and Sabhabhavans in Ankola.

Exam centres will be under CCTV surveillance and use face recognition systems to verify candidates' identities to prevent malpractice.

Candidates are advised to carry valid ID proof and admit cards, and report early; Udupi police have also arranged accommodation for aspirants.
