F’bad: Murder suspect on the run arrested after 27 yrs

Suresh Singh, a 52-year-old murder suspect, was arrested near Faridabad railway station after 27 years on the run.

He had been changing his identity and location, moving between Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Rajasthan to evade arrest.

Singh and two associates assaulted Jawahar Singh and Jag Mohan on March 20, 1999, after a dispute, resulting in Jawahar's death.

A murder case was registered against Singh and two others at Mujesar police station on March 21, 1999; the third associate was arrested but died during trial.
