AMBA Stock Rockets 18% On NXP Buyout Talks For Self-Driving Chip Maker

NXP, a Netherlands-based chipmaker, is in talks to acquire Ambarella, a San Francisco-based designer of AI-powered chips for cameras in self-driving cars and security systems.

Ambarella's stock rose 18% following the news of the potential acquisition.
