  1. Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi on Friday to press for immediate release of ₹250 crore for the proposed Thane-Mulund railway station.

  2. Mhaske requested restoration of the Ratnagiri–Dadar Passenger train to its pre-Covid route, as its present termination at Diva causes inconvenience to commuters.

  3. He also urged restoration of the Mumbai–Madgaon Vande Bharat Express to its six-day weekly schedule during monsoon and additional special trains for the Ganesh festival.

  4. The Railway Minister responded positively and assured early fund allocation for the station project.
