SSC releases revised first round tentative allocation list for Stenographer Grade C, D exam 2025

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the revised first round tentative allocation list for Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2025, after withdrawing the earlier list issued on June 18, 2026, due to candidate concerns about skill test evaluation.

SSC recommended 232 candidates for Grade C and 1,483 for Grade D posts in the revised allocation.

The revised allocation uses a sliding mechanism, and candidates shortlisted must participate in a sliding process scheduled for August 2026.

SSC fixed skill test qualification error limits: up to 5% for UR and 7% for reserved categories in Grade C; up to 7% for UR and 10% for reserved in Grade D.

The commission cancelled two candidates and debarred several others during the review.
