India Post eases cancellation rules, allows refund of postage charges

India Post has eased cancellation rules for postal articles booked via web or mobile app.

Senders can cancel bookings and claim postage refunds before the article is accepted by the post office.

The change applies to self-booked articles only.

The policy update was announced through an official notification.
