PMPML picks 10 non-Metro routes for fresh double-decker trial

PMPML is conducting fresh trial runs of double-decker electric buses in Pune.

The trials will cover 10 routes not served by BRT or Metro.

Previous trials of double-decker buses were conducted earlier but did not proceed to full operation.

The initiative aims to test viability on corridors lacking rapid transit coverage.

PMPML is the city's public transport operator.
