MMC flags fake website mimicking doctors’ registration portal

Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) flagged a fake website maharashtramedicalcouncile.in that mimics the official portal maharashtramedicalcouncil.org.in, differing by an extra 'e'.

The fake site redirects to the genuine Know Your Doctor (KYD) portal, but may collect login credentials and personal data from doctors.

MMC lodged a cyber police complaint; no financial fraud has been reported yet, but doctors are warned against using the fake site.
