Akhil Gogoi Expelled From Assam Assembly For Interrupting Himanta Sarma's Speech

Akhil Gogoi, Raijor Dal MLA, was expelled from Assam Assembly for the day.

Expulsion occurred during Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's speech on Assam Budget 2026-27.

Gogoi was removed for repeatedly interrupting Sarma's speech.

The expulsion applies for the remainder of the ongoing Budget Session day.
