Turkey battles wind-fuelled wildfires on tourist coasts

Hundreds of Turkish firefighters are battling wind-fuelled wildfires spreading near key tourist regions on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
Authorities in Balikesir province reported five people injured, including three firefighters, a forestry official, and a civilian.
Six water bombing planes, seven helicopters, 56 fire engines, three water cannons, 920 firefighters, and 60 volunteers have been deployed to control the fires.
Three villages near Ayvalik have been evacuated, along with 720 cattle.
Agriculture Minister Ibrahim Yumakli said 169 fires have been tackled since Wednesday, with 163 brought under control.
