'This war is a disaster': Oman FM says Israel, not Iran, poses biggest threat to Gulf

Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi called the war on Iran 'a disaster'.

Al Busaidi argued Israel poses the biggest threat to Gulf security, not Iran.

He said the conflict lacked a UN mandate and failed to achieve its objectives.

Al Busaidi urged a new Gulf security framework and protection of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

He stated the war should be a turning point as decades of regional security strategy have failed.
