Babaclick founder moves from London to Gurgaon

Gautam Chadha, 24-year-old founder of Babaclick, moved from London to Gurgaon to scale his cross-border e-commerce business.

Chadha says people, including family members, are surprised by his move from London to India.

He believes entrepreneurs no longer need to be in Silicon Valley, London, or New York to build generation-defining companies.

Chadha argues India is an underrated location for building successful technology companies due to improved conditions.

His year-long experience in India strengthened his view that the West is no longer indispensable for global tech startups.
