NITI Aayog reviews Kashi-Vindhya plan for a $600B economic hub

NITI Aayog Deputy Chairman Ashok Kumar Lahiri chaired a high-level meeting in Varanasi to review the Kashi-Vindhya region's development plan.

The plan aims to make the Kashi-Vindhya region a $600 billion economic hub.

The economic hub proposal could create up to 700,000 new jobs.
