Rohit and Kohli script history, break into ODI's all-time top two list

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli achieved their 21st ODI century partnership, moving to second all-time in ODI history for century stands.

The duo surpassed Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan (20), now only trailing Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly (26).

Rohit and Kohli became the first Indian pair to play 400 international matches together.

Rohit Sharma scored 138 runs, becoming the first Indian batter to score an ODI century at Lord's and the oldest Indian to score an ODI hundred at 39 years 80 days.

Kohli now has 87 century partnerships in ODIs (second to Tendulkar's 99), while Rohit moved to 73, overtaking Ricky Ponting (72).
