Nolan calls Ray's Pather Panchali mind-blowing

Christopher Nolan praised Satyajit Ray's The Apu Trilogy during a visit to the Criterion Closet in New York.

Nolan said Pather Panchali, the first film of the trilogy, 'blew my mind' and that he has not yet seen Aparajito or Apur Sansar.
