Techie earning ₹2 lakh/month seeks debt advice

A 27-year-old techie earning ₹2 lakh per month disclosed on Reddit that he is 'drowning in debt' and living paycheck to paycheck.

His financial burden increased after his wife recently lost her job, leaving the household dependent on a single income.

He has borrowed ₹20 lakh from a relative, pays ₹25,000 monthly towards it, plus personal loan EMI of ₹25,000 and credit card EMIs of ₹30,000.

He also took a loan of ₹2.2 lakh against mutual funds worth ₹6 lakh that are currently pledged, with almost no cash or emergency fund left.
