Bombay HC directs NTA to produce original NEET UG 2026 OMR sheets over score discrepancy claims

Bombay High Court directed National Testing Agency (NTA) to produce original OMR sheets of three NEET-UG 2026 candidates who alleged score discrepancies.

Petitioners Richa Prafulla Deshpande, Soham Nitin Gavte, and Atharva Jagtap claim marks calculated from official answer key differ from declared results, with one alleging a drop from 597 to 45 marks.

High Court issued notices to NTA and Central Government, seeking responses before next hearing on July 30, 2026.

Deputy Solicitor General Ajay Talhar informed the court that NTA was directed to preserve and produce original records for examination.
