‘Height’ of cyber crime in Lucknow: Third fake call centre busted in 22 days

Lucknow Police busted a fake call centre at Cyber Heights in Vibhuti Khand on July 23, 2026, under Operation Cy-Vajra.

Four arrests were made, including alleged mastermind Suraj Tripathi, and ₹18.5 lakh, 31 laptops, 14 phones, and 2 routers were seized.

This is the third such bust in 22 days, following raids at Summit Building in Gomti Nagar and an apartment in Omaxe R2.

The operation targeted US citizens, with the call centre using fake websites and VoIP for international cyber fraud.
