NABARD funds 6,100 rural infra projects with ₹15,000 crore in Haryana: Chief secretary

NABARD sanctioned about ₹15,000 crore under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) for 6,175 infrastructure projects in Haryana.

Projects cover irrigation, rural roads, drinking water facilities, and other critical assets.

Chief secretary Anurag Rastogi said NABARD's concessional financial assistance enabled timely execution of rural infrastructure projects.

NABARD computerised and digitised 710 Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) and promoted 131 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) in Haryana.

FPOs brought together 63,369 farmers, including 14,017 women, to improve collective marketing and technology adoption.
