Will decide on school complex system before Teachers' Day: Himachal CM
Himachal CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured primary teachers the government will decide on the New Complex System before Teachers' Day.
The New Complex System brings 15 to 20 primary and middle schools under a single principal or cluster head.
Hundreds of teachers from the Primary Teachers' Association protested at Chaura Maidan demanding withdrawal of the September 23, 2025 notification on the system.
Sukhu announced suspensions, departmental inquiries, and FIRs against protesting teachers will be withdrawn.
The chief minister also stated JBT teachers will be promoted to TGT posts and sports activities in primary schools will restart.
