Head of US AI safety agency resigns

Chris Fall has resigned as Director of the U.S. Center for AI Standards and Innovation.

Fall was appointed just three months ago to lead the federal AI testing institute at the Department of Commerce.

The resignation was confirmed by a Commerce Department spokesperson.
