MLC match sees 51 sixes, sets new T20 chase record

The chase surpassed Punjab Kings' 265 against Delhi Capitals to become the highest successful run chase in T20 history.

The match produced 51 sixes, the most ever in a T20 game, breaking the previous record of 42 set by KKR and PBKS in IPL 2024.

Nicholas Pooran scored a 31-ball century, the fastest in MLC history and second-fastest in franchise T20.

The game's aggregate of 536 runs is the second-highest in T20 history, behind RCB vs SRH in IPL 2024 (549 runs).
