Lawrence Bishnoi gang member held in Nadir Shah murder case

Delhi Police special cell arrested Saddam Hussain alias Sonu, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Hashim Baba gang, in connection with the murder of businessman Nadir Shah.

Nadir Shah, 35, was shot dead outside his gym in south Delhi's Greater Kailash in September 2024.

Hussain had been evading arrest since the murder and was tracked to Amroha in Uttar Pradesh, arrested on July 20, 2026.

Police recovered a pistol and three live cartridges from Shastri Park based on Hussain's disclosure.

The murder was allegedly orchestrated by the Lawrence Bishnoi-Hashim Baba gang as part of an extortion bid; 16 accused have been arrested so far.
