Six people died after heavy rain lashed Kerala on Saturday, triggering landslides and flooding.
Four of the six deaths occurred in separate landslides in Idukki and Kottayam.
The deceased in Idukki were identified as 65-year-old Sumathi and 77-year-old Prabhakaran Nair; in Kottayam, one deceased was Josephine.
Three children drowned in Malappuram and Kottayam, including Abdul Muhain, Adam Aiman, and Milan K Shiju.
Chief minister VD Satheesan directed ministers to camp in rain-hit districts; searches for six missing people are underway with NDRF, Fire and Rescue Services, police, Coast Guard, and local administration.
