Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) asks developer of SNN Raj Etternia apartment to submit a detailed demolition proposal for a tilted 18-storey tower.
GBA formed a committee including GBA, BDA, fire services, disaster management, BSWML, KSPCB to scrutinize the proposal.
GBA also seeks a debris-management plan and has advised the developer to consult agencies like fire services, disaster management, KSPCB, Bescom, and Rera.
GBA issued a notice to the empanelled structural engineer who certified the building's stability, which led to the issuance of an occupancy certificate (OC).
The OC for the tower was canceled after it developed a noticeable tilt, and demolition is considered inevitable.
