Full story →IMD Forecasts Cloudy Mumbai, Intermittent Rain

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a generally cloudy sky over Mumbai with light to moderate rainfall over the next 24 to 48 hours.
Thane and Palghar districts are also expected to receive rainfall, with Palghar likely to see comparatively higher intensity.
Despite brief heavy showers in isolated areas, IMD does not expect a sustained spell of heavy rain.
Private weather agency AccuWeather predicted occasional rain with breezy conditions during the afternoon and evening.
IMD's August outlook indicates warmer-than-usual conditions across most of India, with moderate El Niño conditions expected to strengthen during the monsoon season.
