Actor Aditi Sharma filed an FIR at Goregaon police station, Mumbai, on July 31, 2026, accusing husband Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik, mother-in-law Urmila Kaushik, and sister-in-law Kirti Kaushik of domestic violence, physical and mental harassment, assault, verbal abuse, and character assassination.
The FIR charges under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 85 (cruelty by husband or relatives), 316(2) (breach of trust), and 352 (intentional insults).
Aditi alleges her mother-in-law kept her wedding jewellery (gold chains, rings, diamond ring, mangalsutra, bangles) and never returned them despite requests.
Aditi met Abhineet in June 2021 during an online acting course, moved to a rented flat in Goregaon West in September 2024, and married on November 12, 2024.
After marriage, she claims her husband demanded money, argued over trivial matters, and on January 1, 2025, a coffee dispute turned violent, leading to suspicion and accusations of cheating.
