Bihar Police initially named Mukhiya as an accused based on prima facie suspicion from other paper leak cases.
CBI filed multiple chargesheets against 45 persons in the case and identified all involved individuals.
Mukhiya remained absconding during the relevant time and was later arrested by Bihar Police.
CBI did not file any chargesheet against Mukhiya in the NEET-UG 2024 case, and he availed bail.
