Registration for CLAT 2027 begins on August 3, 2026, at consortiumofnlus.ac.in and closes on October 31, 2026.
Application fee is ₹4,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹3,500 for SC/ST/BPL/PwD candidates.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) and the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) confirmed no syllabus or exam pattern changes for CLAT 2027.
CLAT UG 2027 will feature 120 multiple-choice questions across five sections: English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.
The CLAT Expert Committee Report 2026 will be published for public feedback until August 31, 2026, with potential implementation in CLAT 2028.
The decision was made during the Consortium's Governing Body meeting on July 18, 2026.
