Foreign exchange inflows under RBI's special swap facility reached $40.816 billion by July 31, up from $20.718 billion on July 17.
FCNR(B) deposits were the largest contributor at $36.725 billion, about 90% of total inflows.
OFCBs contributed $2.575 billion and ECBs added $1.516 billion.
The facility aims to strengthen India's balance of payments and incentivize capital inflows.
