Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain said she felt hurt after noticing India's Northeast was missing from a map at a Glasgow restaurant during a celebratory dinner.
The Assam boxer raised the issue with restaurant management, who acknowledged the mistake and promised to correct it.
Boxing Federation of India president Ajay Singh, present at the dinner, said there was no confrontation and described the incident as an aberration.
The Indian boxing contingent had won 10 medals at the Commonwealth Games, including seven gold and three silver, and Borgohain won silver.

Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain flagged an incorrect India map at Glasgow restaurant Mister Singh's India, which excluded the north-eastern part of India.
The map was on the restaurant's logo, which appeared on napkins, after the Indian boxing team dined there following the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
Lovlina Borgohain, who won a silver medal at CWG 2026, voiced her hurt in a viral video urging the restaurant to correct the map.
Mister Singh's India issued an apology and said it would change the logo to show a proper map, but soon after, the restaurant deleted its Instagram account.
