Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt filed a legal petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court to remove 'Pitt' from her surname, citing 'personal' reasons.
She is the fourth child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to seek a name change, following Shiloh Jolie (approved in 2024), Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, and Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt.
Court documents list the reason as 'personal', with a hearing scheduled for November 2.
Shiloh Jolie was the first sibling to legally remove 'Pitt' after turning 18; Zahara had already used 'Zahara Marley Jolie' publicly since 2023.
Maddox was credited as 'Maddox Jolie' while working as an assistant director on Jolie's film Couture.
