Para powerlifter Jhandu Kumar from Bihar won India's first bronze medal at the 23rd Commonwealth Games 2026 on Friday night.
On Day 3, boxers and swimmers lead India's charge, with Sachin Siwach facing Canada's Keoma Al-Ahmadieh in men's 60kg boxing Round of 32.
Swimmers Dhakshan Shashikumar (men's 400m freestyle heats) and Chaitanya Vishwas Kulkarni (men's S14 200m freestyle heats) will compete.
