Full story →10 Pak officers killed in drone attack on police post by Islamist militants

Islamist militants killed at least 10 Pakistani police officers in a drone attack and ambush on a police post in Hangu district near the Afghan border.
The militants used quadcopters carrying improvised explosive devices to strike the police check post before ambushing it.
Fifteen attackers were also killed in hours of fighting, according to provincial police chief Zulfikar Hameed.
No group claimed responsibility for this attack, which occurred days after a suicide bombing by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan killed 15, including 12 army soldiers.
Militancy in Pakistan's border areas has risen sharply following armed conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
