Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh informed Parliament that private investment in India's space sector has crossed $618 million, with 105 authorizations issued to non-government entities. Background
India's space sector underwent historic reforms in 2020, opening up to private participation. The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) was established as a single-window nodal agency to authorize and regulate private space activities.
