Transmission network to increase from 5.09 lakh ckm (June 2026) to 6.48 lakh ckm by 2032.
Transformation capacity to rise from 1,478 GW (June 2026) to 2,345 GW by 2032.
Inter-regional transmission capacity to increase from 120 GW (June 2026) to 168 GW by 2032.
In last three years (FY 2023-24 to FY 2025-26), 35,172 ckm transmission lines and 270,174 MVA transformation capacity added.
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) installed capacity as of 30.06.2026: 2,927.85 MW / 8,660.20 MWh.
Advanced grid support technologies like STATCOM, synchronous condensers, and FACTS devices deployed.
Cybersecurity: CSIRT-Power established in April 2023; Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC) funded under PSDF.
