Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has sanctioned ₹335 crore for Maharashtra under PM-RKVY, praising the state's exemplary fund utilisation. The announcement came during a review meeting where progress of various agricultural schemes was assessed.
Background
PM-RKVY (Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana) is a central scheme aimed at holistic development of agriculture and allied sectors. Maharashtra has been recognised for efficient utilisation of funds under this scheme.
