The Centre has appointed Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS officer Anurag Jain as the CEO of NITI Aayog. The appointment takes effect from the date he assumes charge.

NITI Aayog, the National Institution for Transforming India, is the premier policy think tank of the Government of India, replacing the Planning Commission in 2015. The CEO is a key administrative position responsible for implementing the organization's vision.
