Background
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for agricultural research and education in India. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) under the Companies Act, 2013 mandates certain companies to spend on social welfare, including agriculture. This conclave aimed to channel CSR funds into agricultural innovation.

ICAR and AgInnovate India Ltd (AGIN) jointly organized the CSR Conclave 2026 at NASC Complex, New Delhi.
Thematic focus areas included climate-resilient agriculture, soil health improvement via nature-based solutions, agriculture for health, agricultural skill development, and women in agriculture and extension.
Over 75 industries with about 150 representatives participated in the conclave.
570 participants joined online, and the YouTube live webcast had over 1,600 viewers.
Four regional roadshows were held prior: Hyderabad (June 20), Bengaluru (June 23), Mumbai (July 1), and Kolkata (July 7, 2026).
The roadshows collectively engaged over 500 stakeholders.
Major corporates like AICL, SBI Foundation, UCO Bank, ICICI Foundation, Biovet, FICCI, INFAH, Venkateshwara Hatcheries, Pidilite, and Yes Bank committed to collaborate with ICAR and AGIN through CSR and R&D.
The conclave aimed to accelerate adoption and scaling of innovative agricultural technologies through CSR partnerships.
