The National Standards for Civil Service Training Institutes (NSCSTI) have been revised and launched as NSCSTI 2.0 on 18 July 2025. This revision aligns with Mission Karmayogi's objectives to institutionalize lifelong learning and competency-based training. The update was announced in a parliamentary reply by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.

Background

NSCSTI was originally established to set quality benchmarks for civil service training institutes (CSTIs) in India. The framework was revised after a structured consultation process, including a national workshop with accredited CSTIs, to incorporate feedback and align with evolving training needs under Mission Karmayogi.
