Background
The Namo Airport at Daman is a civil enclave at the Indian Coast Guard Air Station (ICGAS), Daman. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid its foundation stone on April 25, 2023, and inaugurated it on June 5, 2026. The terminal was built by the UT administration on 25 acres at a cost of ₹124 crore, with ₹88 crore from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
