The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Shillong, under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, successfully organized a webinar to raise awareness about the 'Corporate Mitra Yojana' among youth, students, MSMEs, professionals, and enterprises in Arunachal Pradesh. This initiative is part of a broader campaign for the North Eastern Region (NER) and aims to empower MSMEs in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to contribute to the 'Viksit Bharat@2047' vision.

Background

The Corporate Mitra Yojana is a scheme by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs designed to create a supportive ecosystem for MSMEs by providing access to qualified, recognized, and trustworthy para-professionals called 'Corporate Mitras'. These professionals offer affordable compliance and business support services, enabling MSMEs to focus on innovation and growth. The scheme also aims to train young graduates as industry-relevant para-professionals.
